Seems to be a programming glitch. To do this chkntfs /t:0 Two different frustrations with Microsoft (and/or manufacturers) at once! It's stuck on stage 5 (94%) for hours. You should check both options if you want to really check the disk properly, but if you just want to do a quick check you could select only the first one.
