This is a Windows file system that rose to prominence in the 1990s before NTFS took its place in Windows systems of the early 2000s. So you have to change the setting to default so that it can be accessible to all users and can be transferable. If your external hard drive is formatted as FAT32, you are not able to transfer files that has more than 4GB On the Mac Operating System. Every time I tried to copy the file it would throw up an error box saying the file can't be copied, an "unexpected error has occurred, code 0".
