Resolved now, thanks! I tried to reinstall and the same thing. I suspect that this feature faulty because it implies that you can sync hidden / read only files. Give some more thought to exactly what it is you need.
Or would you recommend something different? Those that simply backup files that you select. They are harmless and never personally identify you.
Sync programs just copy one set of folders from one drive to another in their native format, so no boot disks needed for recovery. Even after the error has come up, and the matrices are still in my workspace, I cannot save them. a full backup, a differential backup or, as yours is set to do, an incremental backup every x days/hours. What software are you asking about?
If I go with full backup first, would the second backup overwrite the first one or does it build up? Interestingly, it actually has the file permission of write. Is this maybe the issue why SyncToy is producing the Access denied? SyncToy will not synchronize file permission to be the same for the same file at two different locations.
